i know its only pre season but that was like dejavu all over again

Agree...different players, same OC. 4th and 1 should be one of two things - QB sneak or pound a back up the middle. Our line is not built for anything outside like that play was called.

Quite frankly, I was disgusted. I was jokingly shouting, "FIVE WIDE ... FIVE WIDE." What we got was just as bad.

It sucked. Even worse is we used a timeout to call that crap.

We needed 1+ yard, why you gonna call a play that develops 10 yards behind the LOS.

Pure Arians.

typical arians, out thinking himself...

I was pretty diappointed with the play call. Your trying to re-establish the power running game. Give that ball to Redman and let him pound it up in there.

POUND THE BALL UP THE MIDDLE.....i guess you can do other things in preseason.

Fire Arians

That definitely called for Redman up the middle. And so did that goalline play last week. I can't for the life of me figure out what Arians is thinking when he calls this crap. Moore had no business in the game on that goal line play last week. I know it is preseason but it sets a bad precedent and looks eerily like the red zone calling last year.

i thought it was funny...

Settle down, it's the preseason; it's not like they were actually trying to win. They were probably just trying to see if it could work.

In a regular season game, I'd say you wouldn't try something like that. It's too predictable with Dixon at QB. Probably they could just fake a bootleg.

I thought we should have just pounded the ball up the middle with a run if we are trying to establish a run game but its preseason. I would have liked to have seen Dwyer take it up the middle.

I didn't get to watch most of the game but when I saw that 4th and 1 play I was like this:

I agree with those that says to pound it up the middle... or a QB sneak instead...
