After 10 years living in Idaho and partying with their cheerleaders, I reserve the right to say that.

I'd love to see them blow up the BCS by being in the mix at the end of the season, with out a doubt one of the most fun teams to watch against the traditional big boys. Great game tonight.

Boise State's schedule seems to be a double edged sword to me. On the one hand, now that they have beaten their one elite oppenent ( I believe they still play Oregon State though which will be a decent test) it looks like they have a fairly easy road to the title game. On the other hand, do they deserve a spot in the BCS Championship game over say a one lose Big Ten or SEC team who may have played 5 or 6 ranked schools.

The whole system is bogus. The NCAA needs to make a playoff system.

Personally I would like to see an 8 team playoff with a reseeding system that would allow for the existence of bowl games. As an example say the 8 seed and 7 seed both lose in the first round. Then those two teams would play each other in like the Sugr Bowl or Rose Bowl. This would give the 4 BCS Bowls and a playoff.

I'm a big fan of Boise, but they are still going to need help along the way to make it to the BCS title game this season. In other words, they don't entirely control their own destiny. For example, the winner of the SEC championship game (assuming the SEC champ has no more than one loss), along with an undefeated champ from the Big Ten or the Big XII would be the matchup in Glendale. Boise needs to root for chaos in both the Big Ten and Big XII. And, Boise needs to win in blowouts from here on out to rack up style points. Don't forget that the AP poll isn't used as part of the BCS formula.

Go Broncos! If they stay undefeated they deserve a shot at the national title. The BCS is a bullshit system set up to protect the big confrences. IT NEEDS TO GO!

i was so happy to see them beat VT last night. it looked like a blow out from the begining just to have VT come back. it was a great game and hopefully VT will win the rest of there games as well as boise state and the broncos will be playing for the national championship

Boise State's national title chances have taken a blow with Va Tech's humiliating loss to Jim Madison today. Va Tech is quite obviously a below average ACC team. I'm sure the media hacks at ESPN/ABC will still have a slobbering love fest over Boise though.

yea that Vtech game really hurt there chances. i was hoping Vtech would win the rest of there games and in return make BS look that much better.

I know it's a moot point for BSU, but I agree w/ this. There are quite a few Broncos fans here in Utah. I am a die hard Ohio State fan. I am very much NOT an SEC fan. :chuckle:
