Hines Lock hall of famer, does nothing but lay defenders out year after year...oh yeah he catches everything
Harrison Beast. When he layed into Orton...he's our mean joe green
Troy Showed flashes of brilliance vs. titans last year, hope he gets back to that level
Timmons Tackles in pursuit like no other steeler. Mauler
Pouncey Seeing him finish blocks this preseason with the first team, brings a style of play not seen from our line since faneca left

Clop...I meant current Steelers. I will edit to clarify.

I will say I'm glad everyone is being simple and following the rules. It has been fun to read. Ryan Clark as been a surprise to be in so many top 5's.

I thought we'd get people trying to do ties and sneaking 8 people on the list etc.

I was also curious to see how many of the lists would include Ben.

It was nice to see our buddy Down actually DOES like some Steelers.

You are the first to have Sepulveda as a top 5. lol

He is a Steelers punter in every sense of the word. He epitomizes Steelers football,

I was so happy when they drafted him. I was getting sick of hearing about how Gardocki never had a punt blocked, every single time the Steelers punted. For that alone, Sepulveda was worth a fourth round selection.

Ike is not a scrub. He has as much athletic ability as any Corner in the NFL. He has 4.2 speed. 38 inch verticle. He is a freak of an athlete. He has horrible hands and bad ball skills but they're only about 5 Corners in the NFL better. 1. Reavis 2, Namdi 3. Champ and Ike is 4, 5, or 6. He is WAY better than Bmac.

Weird that Troy surpasses Harrison on my ALL TIME list but not on my current list. I think it is because Troy will be around longer whereas Harrison probably only has a couple more years to do his thing.

Having the terrible season last year was the best thing that could have happened to us because this will ensure that Troy will retire a Steeler. Were it not for that, maybe management plays a few games negotiating and pisses Troy off and loses him. Now it will be like "Just tell me how much you want." He WILL retire a Steeler.

:noidea: I guess. I wanted to be part of the hype when we drafted him. I know he has good directional ability and can drop some punts within the 20 but he is just an above average punter to me. When it comes to distance, he is nothing special. In fact, if I remember correctly, is average was just slightly under what our opponents averaged against us.

With punting stats, they have him ranked 25th. Just for comparison, the top punter is Shane Lechler. His average punt is 51.1 wit a net of 43.9. Sepulveda averages 42.7 with a 37.1 net. I do like Sepulveda's TB to IN20 ratio but others do well too.

He's OK. We would be just fine without him (as evidenced by wining a Superbowl).

He's no Ray Guy. He should just get into the top half of the league to earn my respect.

Max Starks getting some lovin'...lol nice. I do think he has improved and would be better if the center and LG were better. We now get a better center. If there is a big gap inside and he has to cheat inside, then of course the rusher can run around him and with the inside of the pocket collapsing all the time, he couldn't use techniques like the phonebooth etc. Kemo will be the key to how good Starks is this year.

I don't think he is good but he is probably an average LT if everyone else could do their part.

Nice. Exactly. He would make most teams better. He's a great franchise QB.

Looking at AFC, put him on Cinci, Jets, Miami, Denver, Bills, Cleveland (yes I said it), Titans, Chiefs, Raiders (yes I said it) and he makes all of them contenders. The suckier teams would take 2 years to make the playoffs. Believe that.

So looking at the lists 20 people had Ben and 12 did not have Ben in their top 5.
There is no telling how many of the 12 previously had Ben in their top 5 before "the incident". I would guess a few because i see Sepulveda, Reed and Starks beating Ben on some lists.

I'm sure with time it will go to something like 24-8. There will be a few that never liked Ben and some that will never like him again.
