the former mlb star of the minnesota twins is currently in surgery. he has had his troubles after retirement. but he was a great spokesman on the troubles of glaucoma. i always liked him and hope he recovers. hes still pretty young

a great spokeperson for glaucoma, not so much for womens issues however.

Having a stroke at 44..........that's pretty young.

i guess youve heard something??? if so that sucks. as a pirate fan he represents a time when i last really enjoyed watching baseball and the ws, regardless of what teams were in it. back when i was a faithfull baseball fan.

ok, i know i'll be a bad guy for saying it so soon but...........

before the media makes him out to be an American Icon....

it came out he was a wife beater, a harasser, and gee, glaucoma and a stroke and a body built like a cartoon. Can anyone say Steroids?????????????

fair enough. I wouldnt slam you for bringing it up because in this day and age you look for the signs. Nomar Garciaparra? Absolutely, hes skated for years.

But Puckett has flown under the radar on the issue and now out of "respect" it'll get buried along with him. On the other hand, he may be baseballs Lyle Alzado and this will expode this issue even larger. Stay tuned.

how could you slam me ( other than that you root for the pats)? saying bruschi was on roids is just as fair as saying puckett was.

either way, to die at 44 sucks. bruschi should count his blessings. atleast he didnt lose any eyesight or his life.

i dont know if john ritter did coke during the 70's but i still thought it sucked when he died. i hope i dont die at 44 cause i smoke cigs.
