Guy has a great game filling in for Essex! His story is damn Steel City like. How can you not root for him to stick around.

Damn solid job Doug!

I have never liked Essex. In fact for the longest time I thought he might have had some " Funny " pictures of someone high up in Steelers management to be on this team for as long as he has been. Funny, the first game without Essex, and our O-Line seemed to run block, AND Pass block better then they have all season...Hmmm!

essex is our weakest link and shouldnt be put back in the starting lineup

Tomlin said at the PC today that Essex may be feeling better because of Legursky's performance

I think Legursky did all right. The fact that he can play C and probably long snap is a bonus for him. Either he, Foster or another rookie are gonna have to take over after this season since Essex contract is up.

He's a blue collar guy that had to scape and claw his way onto the team. He is going to give you all he has and more. Sounds like our kinda guy... and Tomlins too with his position flexability.

So who thinks were still gonna see Essex out there come sunday?

I remember how hard I laughed when the commentator for the Pit/Ten game said we could "ill afford to lose Trei Essex" when he went down with an injury on the field. Showed that someone definitely didn't do their homework before the game.
