First let me say I LIKE Moore personally. He is a great teammate and citizen. But seriously, is he worth keeping at this point ? I mean Moore has never been a great Blocker when he is in there. And so far this season Moore, at least to me has not looked anything more then below average. I mean 4 total rushes for 5 yards ? And 5 catches for 7 yards ? And his longest reception was for 7 yards. That means his other 4 catches have gone for zero yards.

Sorry fans, I don't mean to sound hateful towards Moore. But, considering we may need to add a D-Linemen because of Hoke's Injury. Or maybe open a extra spot for youngsters like, K.Lewis, E.Sanders, or even J.Dwyer...I just don't think we can afford to keep Mewwelde on the team any longer.

What say you all ?

Before the season I would say no way. But the way they are using Moore is really stupid. He is getting carries up the middle in situations that scream for Isaac Redman. And he has not looked that good. Perhaps it is because he has a better repoire with Ben than he does with our crew of mediocre backup QBs. And yes, Batch is mediocre. He had two picks and could have easily had two more in yesterday's game.

His contract is up this off season. The main reason he wasn't cut after last season was because the Steelers didn't want to pay off his contract.
Unless he proves himself by the end of this year, he'll be gone, no question about it. Maybe Tomlin is kind enough to let him play in the preseason so see if he can improve.

Yeah, they probably won't cut him this year, but I imagine he'll be gone after next...he's definitely not the player he was two years ago.

I can see this being his last year with the Steelers.

He looks shot, but they wont cut him because he's an integral part of their 3rd down offense for some reason?

we might see more of Mendenhall on 3rd downs as the season goes on. right now though.. who is there out there to even replace him with? you need 3 RBs.. that's a given.

He is fine. He will be better with BR7 in there. Finally we need all the backs we have in case of injury.

You know... At the beginning of the season, I would have been more on the lines of:

"OMG ARE YOU CRAZY!?!? He does nothing but moves the chains when we need it most!"

After watching the first 3 games of the season, I am starting to feel that his day has come and gone and there's nothing he can do that Redman can't.

He just looks slow and indecisive.

This will be his last season as a Steeler.
