Steelers | Team might raise club seat ticket prices

Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the Pittsburgh Steelers might raise ticket prices for club seat tickets, but not in other areas according to a team official. The Steelers will look to add revenue in other areas as a result of the new collective bargaining agreement. Steelers chairman Dan Rooney said, "We're not looking to go gouge [fans] because we're the Super Bowl champs or anything like that. We'll look at it from doing the right thing and not gouge it. As far as sponsorships and things like that, I think we're in a position to be able to give people their money's worth as far as those kinds of things."

They raise my ticket price every year. Nothing new here. Worth every penny though.

that it is I drive once a year from C-bus to see a game, this year I am trying to get tickets for the Bungals game

From what I understand from friends, send in your requests early. Better safe than sorry.

If thats what it's gonna take to pay the bills... This is probabaly the 3.5% the players association just had to have. :rolleyes:

They are thiking about raising ONLY club seats? Good! I have been on the list since '97 and figure in the next 10 years they may get to me.
But I would not put up the ranch!

I heard this morning on the news that they were going to raise the price of club seats only, Lyn. :smile:
