Carter flew to Washington on Monday night and will sign a six-year contract that is believed to be worth about $30 million.

Oh this is complete BS. Another 5 million per year deal for who? An injury prone DE who got his stats on a crappy team. Man, this idiot owner likes wasting money.

Under the cap my ass.

Once again, I think this picture pretty much says it all. Carter is worth about half what ARE's worth. And ARE's worth about half of what he's getting paid. Something tells me the Foreskins owner was very spoiled as a child. I can imagine him throwing a temper tantrum in his office if he doesn't get the the player he wants.

I heard the Skins were talking to Jets DE-John Abraham as of yesterday so the Snyder Shopping Spree might not be over yet.

I don't think this will happen now with this signing. Plus, the Jets are looking to trade Abraham, and they want a first rounder in this years draft which the Deadskins do not have.

The Cowboys made a much better signing with Ayodele, who has better stats than Cater.

The Dallas Cowboys signed linebacker Akin Ayodele to a $17 million, five-year deal Monday that includes a $5 million bonus, a hefty raise from the last time he worked for the club - as a ball boy.

The last time I checked, the Redskins still have an ancient Mark Brunnel, a mediocre and inconsistent Patrick Ramsey, and an unproven Kordell Stewart-like (only scored lower on the wonderlic) Jason Cambell, currently 3rd on the depth chart behind Ramsey, in their arsenal at QB.
