The Saints officially announced their intention to part with Brooks this offseason. It was not a surprise, but it finally closed the door on the subject. The team will save $4.5 million against this year's cap when they release him.
Brooks is drawing nearly no trade interest, but a few teams will give him a look once he's a free agent.

Aaron should do his best to convince his second cousin that he sucks at playing Quarterback as well.

Please God, I beg you...don't let anyone post at Steelersfever that they'd like to pick up Aaron Brooks as Ben's Back-up.

Aaron Brooks to Oakland - that is my first wild prediction of the offseason.

No-one will trade for him - but maybe it would be interesting to see how he performs outside of New Orleans - the whole franchise specialises in underachievement.

now that kitnas gone the bengals may be interrested too. him winding up in oakland wouldnt be suprising. good thing about brooks is he has plenty of starting experience and a change of venue could be what the dr. ordered. probably doesnt have too much upside from what he has shown to this point though. but could be just what the bangals need to hold them over till palmer gets back.

i think that would be the bangels but im not sure... its been a manic tuesday. anyways he would help them more than ramsey would. they were inquiring about joey harrington. i dont think brooks would be to interested in the type of $$$ they will be offering compared to the raiders though.

Yeah it was a bit of a reach ...it was actually the Bangles. Cant wait for summer - getting a little bored of this hazy shade of winter - especially when im walking down your street.

"life fades away" by r. orbison written by danzig, and a great cover of "ina gadda da vida" by slayer
