I'm new to the forum and joined because I need your help. My husband is a big Steelers fan and I want to bring him to his first football game but I can't decide if I should choose the game against the Bengals on Dec 12 or the Jets on Dec 19th (I understand both will be good games but any preferences??). Since it's a surprise I can't ask him... We're from Quebec and I must say it's already quite a venture to find tickets at a decent price so I want to make sure he will attend a game he will remember.

Jets... I have a feeling with the style of the 2 teams it will be a game to remember.

I'd say the Bengals just because they are division rivals and those are some of the best games to go to.

You really can't go too wrong with either though. I'm sure the Jets game will be great too! I guess just find out which game you can get better seats for at the best price really...they're both going to be extremely fun.

And welcome to the boards! Hope you have a great time at whichever game you choose and enjoy your stay in Pittsburgh!

Very tough choice indeed. They play back to back with each other, so the timing of the schedule is JUST right when talking atmosphere. You can't go wrong with Cincy. Division rival, who SWEPT us last season, so we'll be out for revenge on that one.

But as far as playoff atmosphere goes, the Jets coming in here could possibly have MUCH, MUCH more riding on it.. potential homefield if you will, so you have a decision to make. Even though It's a win win, I think the Jets game has PLAYOFF atmosphere written all over it. I'd go with the Jets.

On the other hand, the Steelers have a better shot at probably beating Cincy than the Jets judging by how both teams are playing thus far. It's still awhile away though, who knows who will be the pretender of the contender by then. Good luck!

I think I'll go for the Jets.
My husband will be so thrilled to get to see the Steelers!
Thank you all!
