wow in the 3rd. Didn't see that one coming. He'll do good in Denver's scheme. He would have been a beast in our offense though

Can't wait for his agent to start demanding top 'last pick of the 3rd round' money from Pat B. That ought to be a laugher. Don't get it though. Mort said 1/3 of the boards didn't have him on there. The other 2/3 had him in the sixth round. Now thats a reach.

He`ll be the only third round pick to hold out til the week before the season starts, I hope he knows how lucky he is . He ended up a 1st day draft pick, and went to a team where everyone rushes for a 1,000. Blitz just got his 1,000, props to Blitz.

Everybody in the media had him pegged to go in one of the compensatory picks in the 6th or 7th round.. now clarett gets the next laugh. :blah:

I know the Steelers are all about character... but I was hoping we could take a flyer on him in round 6 or 7. I think Bill Cowher could chew that attitude out of him.

I`m kinda hoping he doesn`t workout, maybe this will send a message to other college players. He has only played 7 games in college, and this was on the best team in the NCAA that year, is he going to be a great one ????????????????????????????????///

Broncos already warned him to show up in better shape. What the hell, hes had nothing to do but get in shape.

thats wat sepereated mike williams from him. Mike williams was smart and made the best of his time off by working out and getting in shape. Clarette was a dumbass that did nothing and tried challening the NFL

Mike Williams worked out with Chris Carter, he gets everyone into shape, for a price$$$

no disrespect here Cleve.... but did you watch him in the National Title game? He played hurt the entire game, and pretty much gave us that title singlehandedly. If he doesn't physically take the ball away after the INT we lose. I would have drafted him based soley on that one game. He will be a beast with Denver. And he would have been one with us had we taken him. He's going to show everyone just how durable he really is. Watch.

No disrrepect taken, its just my opinion, Only time will tell, the play your referring to was a great play for the stipped ball. But also the the refs helped a little on the pass interference call. or gameover

your right on the pass interference call. but he carried that team in that game. IMO

C'mon guys...one game great game, doesn't give rights to be a Great RB in the NFL. I think it was too much of a risky pick for me. Too much baggage.

man clarett is a good football player, he might not be fast but hes good. I see him getting at least 600 yards or more

Yeah, but theyve converted two fullbacks(Ruben Droughns, Mike Anderson) and made em 1000 yard rushers.....If healthy, hell be just fine.....

Agreed if anyone can make a back out of nothing, it would be Denver, I just question his heart, and his being a quitter, remeber this guy quit on OSU, then tried to bring down the whole program, and change the NFL

As far as changing the NFL, I think that he had a good point challenging the rule. However I think what he did to the program at OSU was bull@*!&. That being said, he is a talented player and with Denver he will be a good NFL player
