View Full Version : Adam Morrison?

I don't get to see much West Coast Conference basketball (Nobody else does either), but I've noticed a couple things about Adam Morrison.

He's pretty skinny, to begin with. He's 6'8" and only 205. Once he gets to the pro's and nobody cares who he is, he'll be pushed around and marginalized quite a bit, not to mention him foregoing all the cheap calls he currently gets, and the calls he gets away with (anyone remember Danny Ferry?)

More importantly, did anyone see how he was acting when he didn't get the ball against Indiana today? He starts throwing up his hands and acting like the team is falling apart if he doesn't have the ball all the time.

MOST importantly, did anyone see his psychotic behavior at the end of the game against Xavier?

I guess I can forgive the cheesy shag hair, and the 70's pornstache, but the craziness coupled with the uncanny similarities to past busts like Ferry and Christian Laettner tell me that any NBA team who takes this weirdo will not be happy in the end.

adam morrison is alright, he'll be a good role player in the nba, he's probably acting like he's the team cause of all the attention he's been getting in the media, but i like the way he don't give a f'k, cause that black dude would've f'd him up last night lol. when morrison gets to the nba he'll be the poster child for type 1 diabetes, and avg. between 10 to 13 points for his career. and i remember danny ferry he won a championship with the spurs lol.

JJ Re**** will be kicking ass in the NBA while Morrison will be blowing.

Red**** will be mediocre at best, look at his numbers against physical teams. Once someone gets in his face he gets flustered and its all over

Neither Reddik or Morrison play any great defense, so they'll either get PT on crap teams or be bench players on decent teams. Shooters in the NBA are a dime a dozen and when they reach the NBA, defense rocks their shooting cause they don't have the time to shoot that they did in college.

There's a reason both of these guys are seniors and it's because they're not rookies or second year pros.

I'll reserve my impression of Morrison until he plays some real competition. I thought he was just getting pumped that his team was carrying him against Indy.

i guess you are a duke fan, cause no he f'n won't, jj will be a lesser steve kerr in the nba. he's to small for what he plays, he is gonna get torn a new ******* on the reg when he's playing defense, he has nothing to offer but three point shooting and it's gonna be much harder for him to get off all those shots unless he plays for the spurs or the heat, but someone will be fooled by his college numbers and waste a draft pick on him and all they'll get is an average bench player. morrison at least has height, and some muscle so he won't get bullied around like jj is going to be.
