"Starting next year, NBA prospects must be 19 years old and out of high school at least one year."

This is the first I learned of the rule change, but that's good for Ohio State. Oden would've gone. As far as anyone's NBA career is concerned, they'd be better off in Europe for a year than the NCAA. As far as Oden is concerned it probably would only help his fundamentals, not his draft position

well enjoy oden for a year, cause there is no way he's gonna turn down the chance to be two three pick in next years draft. i'm glad stern put an age limit, but i feel sorry for schools cause now their scholarships are gonna go to waste (well at least that's what i heard). and getting a good freshman class doesn't guarantee you anything, just a lot of mistakes waiting to happen, so don't get your hopes up to much

2 years...he's only 17...and my hopes are very high. One of the best College basketball coaches with the best recruiting class at a school with a winning tradition...if I can't get excited about that, I might as well stop watching college hoops.

It is. That quote above in my previous post is from an ESPN article.
