The thought of a Steve Smith/Keyshawn combo is probably giving a few defensive coordinators a s sleepless night. Too bad the rest of the offense is so inconsistant. It will be interesting to see how well Keyshawn and Smith's egos play together.

IMO this is a very good signing, they needed someone to help smith in the playoffs this year so now they got that possesion reviever they needed. and the reason they were inconsistent was because they didn't have a running came because of injuries, i think they'll be ten times better next year. and they can add a good running back in the draft if they want to.

It will be interesting to see how well Keyshawn and Smith's egos play together. smith and keyshawn can step on the practice field and keyshawn can watch smith burn him every day. that will pretty much keep keyshawns ego in check. keyshawn is solid. you know what youre gonna get from him before you decide to pay for him. i think this is a really good move by the panthers. after all they have been to 2 of the past 3 champ games and are making positive efforts to upgrade. plus its another upgrade to the pats that doesnt come to fruition.

they have been waiting for this 2nd wave of free agency and now must worry about missing the boat. it would suck to be dressed in this sharp salary cap increase suit, with no one to take to the prom.

Assuming the Panthers can get their running game back, they'll be a strong contender for next season's Super Bowl losers.

I would love to see Smith and Meshawn take some hits from our big nasty D. Hit them in the mouth a few times, and maybe they'll learn to close it.

lol, naw i don't think that would work, keyshawn gets hit pretty damn hard every year, and still talks, and it's hard to hit steve smith cause no one can catch him.

All this signing is going to do is open Smith up on the field. and turn a great team into a better one.......

Better them than the Cowboys!

Regardless, watching the NFC highlights gets even more interesting! :)

You think they'll be pissed losing in the SB to the same team twice?

It's hard to imagine Keyshawn being on a team where he's #2 on the "Obnoxious Depth Chart".

This is a good signing. Smith scorches D's on his own , imagine with a good #2. They may not need a superstar RB now with the field opening up. Just a good 1200 yarder.

Wishful thinking LITP! :blah:

The Super Steelers will be back again this year.

It is time for the second coming; The second dynasty.

Pittsburgh was the first team to have two back-to-back SuperBowl wins (SB 9 and 10...and SB 13 and 14, next year they will be the first to have 3 back-to-backs.....on top of the First to have 6 rings! Woooo-Hoooo!
