MOST VALUABLE PLAYER

Rashard Mendenhall, HB, Pittsburgh

With a four-game suspension of QB Ben Roethlisberger to start the season, the Steelers needed to run the ball to stay in the AFC North race. Mendenhall rushed for 100 yards twice and scored four touchdowns to help Pittsburgh to a 3-1 start. His 50-yard TD gallop in overtime beat the Falcons. Mendenhall has scored three more touchdowns since Roethlisberger's return for the 6-2 Steelers.

Good he's getting some props from people. He isn't the MVP though. I was not happy when the Steelers picked Mendy, but he's proving me dead wrong as usual.

Rashard Mendenhall has been an excellent running back for us this season. My only concern is Mike Tomlin and Bruce Arians giving him too many carries. They can't run him until the wheels fall off. By the way, according to Chris Berman on ESPN Charlie Batch is our MVP.
