Haynes signs a 2-year $1.6 million deal to remain a Steeler. I dont know about you guys but I'm down with that!/

I'm glad they signed Haynes. He's quite a contributor on the team.

This was a good move by the FO. Hayens does not get the credit he deserves for a lot of the stuff he does. He is solid on special teams. Plus his pre-game warm up dances are hilarious.

Morgan is signed, Nua is signed, and Haynes is signed...all solid moves by the Steelers FO. Great job guys. Haynes is the main back up to Kreider and our 3rd down back so he's a multi faceted player ..not to mention a beast on ST.

if its $800,000/ year thats pretty freaking cheap. i thought for sure the patriots would make a stronger run for him. i was thinking it would take atleast a mil to keep him.

If we kept Haynes for 800k, we STOLE him. He's in the black & gold simply because he wants to be a part of it all.

I am foreseeing greatness.

with signing bonus it averages out to be 1 million per year.. I think N.E was offereing the same and that is why he stayed with us. He wanted to be a Steeler anyway and now will be for 2 more years.

I understand Morgan and Haynes but why did they keep Morey on?

ST purposes and as an extra receiver. The question should be ..Why Lee Mays ????? lol

Avoid Lloyd

Morey is fantastic on special teams. Cowher likes his ST demons and it's done us well.

I'm really liking our offseason so far. I'm sure a lot of ppl/analysts will think that we didn't sign enough free agents, but we're keeping the core of a Super Bowl team together.

To break up the chemistry by not keeping key role players would be a Raven's like move.
