Pick three things that you think are most important to winning this game. Oakland has the 2nd best rushing offense in the NFL! What do you think?

1) Get the D off the field on 3rd-Down: If Oakland can sustain drives, keep our Offense off the field and exploit our depleted D-Line and secondary, it could be a long day. The D can really help themselves by putting the ball in Ben's hands and keeping the possession clock tilted in our favor.

2) Get Mendenhall back on track : Oakland isn't a very good run-stopping team. They average 125 YPG which is toward the bottom of the league (24th) in that category. With another weak run-stopping team in Buffalo next week, getting Mendy rolling would give the Offense some much-needed identity.

3) Red-Zone Offense: Don't turn the ball over, turn TDs into FGs (especially with a new kicker) or come away empty-handed. Haven't been able to deliver the KO blow this year and it almost cost us at least two of our wins to date. Finding paydirt will keep Suisham off the field, take unnecessary pressure off the battered D and give Ben and the boys some confidence.

1) Crowd Noise
2) Special Teams
3) Most importantly have more points than Oakland at the end of the game

1) Play with emotion. Show some heart. This team was heartless last game. You can't just walk out onto the field and expect to win. You have to work for it and earn it and it starts with your passion and intensity.

2) Offense must play with a sense of urgency. Every series matters. Every play matters. Throw on first down. Mix in the run. Call screen plays. The first drive is critical. They have to show that they can drive the ball and score on their first series. If they don't, the pressure will tighten like a vice.

3) Generate some kind of pass rush. With the weak personnel left over, I don't if this is at all possible, but they have to somehow will themselves to get pressure on the QB. Essentially, they have to win the line of scrimmage battle. They have to get a push and destroy the run and the pass. Right now, it's looking like ZH is a bust. I'm hoping he proves me wrong.

Madden's keys to victory

1) Be a winner
2) Don't worry about the horse being blind, just load the wagon
3) Score more points than the other team.

Play with your heart

sounds corny, but trust me when you're focused and play with a chip on your shoulder and need to prove something, miracles occur

This is kind of a hard game for me to project. The way the Raiders give up Rushing Yards to most teams and all, it seems like it should be simple. But the Raiders will watch film all week and see what happens on every sunday afternoon it seems . . the Offensive Line is so banged up for the Steelers at this time and they will just Blitz Blitz Blitz. I believe Mendenhall could have a great day if he just had some Pure Blocking up front.

1. Must Stop The Run
2. Must Be Able To Run The Ball
3. and Our Offensive Line Needs To Stay Healthy
