is not Tom Brady.

He will not be able to drive his team for TD's against our D. He'll get some yards underneath and he'll pick up some 3rd downs that will drive me crazy while I'm watching the game. But in the end our defense will hold them out of the endzone just like they have most of the year.

We were awful Sunday night and I was disappointed and disgusted, then depressed. It's Friday, and I'm optimistic and ready for some football.

I thought the same thing about Gradkowski last year. Not saying Campbell will be able to sustain long scoring drives but I've learned not to count any QB out, no matter how dismal their reputation may be. I'm right there with you with the Friday optimism though. Could this be this game re-kindle the Steelers/Raiders rivalry of old? I've heard so much of those games in the 70s but haven't been able to witness many meaningful games between these two teams.

If we don't get pressure on him...he's seen the tapes...Brady picked us apart...No, these 2 QB's are not in the same category as far as talent goes...but we can't give 20 yard cushions on their WR. We gotta get some pressure on him, hit him a few times...and bump their very average WR at the line-throw off their timing. Plus gotta protect Ben....If he's on his back all game, we won't be able to score.

Campbell is one of the worst QBs in the league. Our defense will have their way with him.

It's our offense which I'm worried about.

Exactly. Tom Cable has been far too vocal about Jason Campbell starting at QB....seems like he is playing some smoke and mirors. I would not be surprised to see Bruce under center from play 1. I hope our coaches are smart enough to consider this-- ordinarily I wouldn't even worry, but, they clearly showed the fans last weekend that our coaching staff does not know how to gameplan at all.

Our defense made Bruce Gradkowski look like Joe Montana last year, why would they start any other QB against us? Unlike our offensive coordinator, other teams don't go away from what has worked.

When we played the Redskins he called a time out every time Polamalu came to the line. I'm not real worried about being beat by Campbell

Campbell almost looked relieved when they pulled him for Gradkowski. He had utter fear in his eyes for most of this game. He's lying in bed having a black and gold nightmare right about now. Relentless defense today. We stuck up the middle finger to the refs today. They could throw all the flags they wanted but it wasn't going to stop us from punishing the Raiders.
