Steeler Nation obviously has to ask these important questions about anyone and everyone who's ever been run out of town by their former employer. I think we should consider Chilly, as well as Arlen Specter and Paula Abdul. I'm also keenly watching the transactions lists from the LA Dodgers, Real Madrid and the Wolverhampton Wanderers.

More to come...

I vote for Joe Torre. He's a proven champion and plus I'd get a kick out of him on the sidelines in a full Steelers uniform.

Habits are hard to break.

This is very well thought out.

I would be thrilled with any of the above mentioned people, but if we can't get them, I propose an alternative.
Aren't there still some former General Motors executives looking for work?

CEOs never get fired, Matt. They just get indicted.

Norv Turner has done wonders in San Diego. He made Philip Rivers a beast even with half of his receivers gone.

I agree, Fire Arians, bring in Norv(who will almost surely be fired if the Chargers miss the playoffs)

Oh and I wouldn't hire Childress. He has done nothing good in Minnesota this season.

I think we should also consider bringing in Matt Millen to run the draft.

NO! That spineless bastard let Favre run (and destroy the team in the process) the show over there. Didn't have the backbone to send him to the bench and couldn't handle Moss either.
We definitely don't need a situation where the indians are running the chiefs.

How about Ken Whisenhunt? I bet right now he wishes he was back in Pittsburgh. His team sucks, his front office sucks and he's working for a cheapskate owner who won't pay players. After Whiz is fired or quits in total disgust, we could fire Arians and hire Whiz back as our OC. Then the Turdnials would hire Arians. Personally I can't imagine a better fate for Arians than being the head coach of Arizona Turdnials, the worst team in the league.

Could this OP ask one of the admins to lock down this thread? I'm going back to the drawing board, to see if maybe illustrations or a larger font would help.

It's no use ric. I blame a flawed educational system, fluorescent lighting and bovine growth hormones.

No way should the Steelers hire Chilly. He was not a great coach and definitely not liked by the fans
