I'm looking into the near future here. If the Browns and Bengals will start playing spoilers for us, it will help our playoff scenario greatly. The losses to Baltimorons and the Cheatriots* hurt our homefield playoff chances. So if the Bungles knock off the Jets (we play them in a few weeks) it'll be good for us, right?

Right?

Aw f(&% it. Bengals suck. John Kuhn. Brett Favre.

LOL, well yeah, but I honestly don't think that the Bungholes have a snowball's chance in hell of beating the Jets. Maybe, but that team finds a way to shoot itself in the foot in every single game. Palmer will be lucky if he's even a starter next season at this point.

All we have to do is win our next game with the Ravens and we will have the tiebreak over Baltimore assuming we win our last game with the Bengals and Browns.

theres no way the bengals beat the jets. they couldnt even beat the bills after a 21 pt lead

Ravens have the Saints, Steelers... and hopefully at least 1 trap game they could fall to with the Browns or Bucs left. Notice I didn't mention the Bungals in that list...

The latest trend in the NFL is having a team quit on the coach - Benglas have quit on Marvin Lewis just as the Cowboys quit on Phillips and the Vikings quit on Childress

Bengals will lose by at least 3 touchdowns Thursday night

As stated in a prior post, Steelers winning the division hinges on winning in Baltimore - if anyone wants to worry about a potential tiebreaker with the Jets the Steelers just need to take care of business when they play the Jets next month

i think i gotta be a jets fan.

either the patriots or jets are winning the division and homefield advantage as the #1 seed. the other team will probably be a 13-3 or 12-4 wildcard team going on the road to play and 8-8 afc west team.

since this is nearly a foregone conclusion, i'd much rather it be the jets than patriots getting the bye and all remaining games at home.

steelers just need to beat the ravens and jets. but then again, i said the past games vs the ravens and patriots were important for homefield. :hunch:

Personnally, I really don't care about who beats who and what is on another team's schedule. The Steelers control their own fate (except with any tie-breaker with the Pats because we let them rape us).

I am just in Disbelief that all the Bengals fans are not coming here this season . . Last season they were showing up like nats in the summer time in the south... The Bengals are the Bengals and until they get a Real Coach that Stands By What He Preaches . . then they will Never be winners. Well Tony those 2 games were important for the Homefield Advantage . . I wish they could have won atleast one of those games, but they didnt so they got to get some help with the Patriots situation, but we still get the Ravens 1 more time and the last few years the Visiting Team has gotten the job done. I just honestly think we should sit our Whole Offensive Line vs the Bills and have them as close to being Healthy as possible vs the Ravens in a couple weeks . . . . lol
But We Honestly Better Not Take This Bills Team for Granted Either . . they Can Score some Points now . . .

I kind of agree with you here. I think we may want the Jets to win this since we can still hand the Jets a loss by ourselves. I think at the end of the day, if we can beat the Jets and Ravens we may be in line for a bye. Having the Jets and NE finish in a tie, could likely give the Jets the divsion and put the Pats on the road throughout the playoffs. In this scenario, we would hold a head to head tie breaker on the Jets and not the Pats, so the Jets winning the division could be a good thing.

I think we root for the Jets to beat the Pats, then we beat the Jets and Baltimore and we could be the first seed. We would have the tiebreaker over the Jets and Baltimore, and the Jets would win their division with a tie-breaker againts the Pats. Lets just hope we can win those! I honestly think the Ravens will be more difficult than the Jets, as they have a better passing game than the Jets. I am also hoping the Ravens find a way to lose at least one more (not counting us) to give us some breathing room.

I want the Jets to break both of Terrel Owens' legs and end his f**king career. That douchebag has the nerve to mock all of the other players in the NFL every week (Ben especially) when his own team is playing, like complete shit. I can only imagine how much of a prick he would be if the Bungles were winning.

And the Ravens have to play, on the road on Monday night vs. the Texans. Sure, the Texans have a horrible defense, but they have Arians - and the Ravens are having fits stopping the run - plus, Schaub could give the Ravens CBs fits.

Flacco also chokes on the road...

That's 3-4 challenging games for the Ravens - the Saints and Tampa at home, the Texans on the road, and the Steelers, of course.

We just have to take care of business next week.

We win out and we could very well have home field through the playoffs.
Both the jets and Patriots have trap games this weekend, as they play each other next weekend.
e have to be careful as well , with the Bills as we have the Ratbirds next week.

I want the effin Jets AND Patriots to lose every week. Shut that fat tub o lard Jet's coach up. They have gotten so lucky I want to puke. I suspect it will be a laugher in Detroit for New England this week although Detroit always seems to play well on Thanksgiving day.

Jets just do what winning teams do...Find a way to win. Although without a top QB , i fear them less than the other top teams.

same here. we may need them to get rid of the pats in the playoffs for us though. for some reason they always play well against them while we don't

Well you better hope the Jets keep winning, because the Pats are 2 games ahead of us, and if the jets win the division, that means even if the pats have the best record between them and the steelers, steelers have a shot at the #2 seed...
