View Full Version : Tribe v ChiSox

Regular Season kicks off!
Most importantly, the Tribe signed up all their core talent for the next 3-5 years. Also, Wedge was dismayed at slow starts for the Indians for the last couple years, so he's emphasized winning, and winning early.
I expect the Tribe to shoot out of the box fast this year, and give the Sox a run for their money...

No love in the booth for the Tribe...but I guess the media must ***** itself for Champs...

Well the Sox are the champs so the focus should be on them, just as it should be on the Steelers opening night for the NFL

Disagree...if it's the national forum, be impartial.
Same for the Steelers on September 7th...

You better hope Sabathia doesnt miss to much time.... The only part of the broadcast that is angering me is the Bonds talk

Bad news...but they DO have a TON of depth in the bullpen.

Boom! Just like that, tied up, and that's Mark Buehrle the Tribe just scored 3 runs on in 3 innings, not some scrub...
Anyway, rain delay, so goodnight...

Damnit we lost, the pen collapsed I guess,I went to bed figuring they'd cancel it.

I'm not too worried about it...a long (3 hours)rain delay screws everything up...they looked good before it, though...and, remember, they were playing a team that swept the NL's best in the WS just a few months ago, and probably got a little STRONGER in the offseason.
As for CC, he's probably going on the 15 day DL, and they'll call up Jason Davis, who has more than his fair share of experience as a Tribe starter...
If the team will hit for their pitchers, they'll survive.
