Injury bug bites again:banging:

Turns out the "sprained" right foot of Steelers quarterback Ben Roehlisberger actually is broken.

The fifth metatarsal bone or the outside metatarsal on Roethlisberger's right foot is broken, the Post-Gazette has learned. It was injured during the first quarter of Sunday's game in Buffalo.

The Steelers have been listing the foot as sprained.

Roethlisberger went through another practice today and has said he fully expects to play in Baltimore this Sunday night. Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said after practice that Roethlisberger's injury should not curtail anything he does on the field in Baltimore.

Ben Hasn't lost to the Ravens since 2006, losses have come when other quarterbacks have started against the Ravens. This is also a must win game, so him playing is very important, even if he was in a wheelchair.

Apparently this was not announced officially and Bouchette says the Steelers did not want the word out - Bouchette also says Roethlisberger ws limping heavily today

I just hope the man can continue on without issue. I know that damn thing must hurt like hell. Give him credit for hanging in there for the team and the glory of hopefully winning the SB.

Now the word is it's not broken.

The official Steelers response of no broken foot came after the P-G "learned' of the broken foot

Sounds like #7 is putting out another of his highly imaginative medical diagnoses

Broken or not broken he won't be able to avoid the Ravens rush with an injured foot.

Hey maybe the Ravens will underestimate Big Ben, and then Ben will blow em out. Prob not. Thanks to Arians
