Goodell will be fining the snow $75,000 for an illegal hit to the roof

You'd think after that thing collapsed under snow, what, 4 times already, that they'd get something a little bit more sturdy on there.

I wonder if they'll just move the game to NY or find a neutral site to play on (like a college stadium or something).

The NFL said it was considering moving the game to the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium or to another NFL domed stadium, spokesman Greg Aiello said. TCF Bank holds about 50,000 people, compared to the Metrodome's 64,000. TCF has the advantage of being close, but it would have to be cleared of snow, and alcohol sales aren't permitted there.:jawdrop:

Looks like the game goes to Detroit or St.. Louis - cannot be a proper NFL gameday experience without drinking:chuckle:

Detroit it is...

The Vikings-Giants game was postponed today due to heavy snowfall and forced to move when the roof collapsed. According to multiple reports, it will be played at 7:20 p.m. Monday at Ford Field.
"It's Detroit. Goodcall. Makes sense" Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay tweeted this morning.
The NFL also considered moving the game to Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium and to TCF Bank Stadium at the University of Minnesota.
The game will be the first ever regular-season Monday Night game at Ford Field.

Detroit isn't a bad place to have the game I guess... Though who's gonna go to the game? Viking fans aren't all gonna go to Detroit, and detroit fans aren't gonna buy 2 tickets to see their team and then a rival team.

I thought I heard that tonight's game is free and those Vikings fans with tickets who make the trip will get prweferred seating around the 50 yard line?
