After watching a bunch of games and replays, i thought the Steelers-Bengals was one of the more interesting games with the ugliness, Troy's play, the hard hits, the Bengals continued surprising losing streak, and more....so i figured there would be a good deal of attention and highlights Monday morning.
I'm watching ESPN, ESPN2, a couple other smaller sports outlets and after an hour of nothing (NOTHING!), i finally caught a small blurb about it.
It was the Jets, the Pats, the Jags, the Packers, And more Pats and Packers. Repeat. Repeat.
Whats up w/no talk about the 10-3 Steelers????

That's good--fly under the radar and surprise everyone in the playoffs, hopefully.

It's all part of the conspiracy going on right now! We are the ugly, red-headed, step child that is kept locked away and mistreated. And I agree with Steve314, it's the way we like it!

In all seriousness, however, there were so many outstanding plays that should have ended up on the networks. What about Ben's ability to get the ball out to Mendy ... the play where Ben was getting engulfed by the Bungholes (for what seemed like an eternity) and then flip the ball over the defender's head ... Mendy turned it into a 9 yard gain. Name one Steelers' fan who didn't hold their breath during that play and then let out a HUGE sigh of relief ... followed by a hell-yeah shout?

Name some more plays (aside from the already talked about pick sixes and El's catch) ... I know we'll have a long list!

everyone's writing everybody off except NE, atlanta, and NO

i don't mind, i personally have a bad feeling about games when we're a heavy favorite.

Where have you've been the last forever of your life? The Steelers RARELY get any media coverage, even when we won the Super Bowl. Hell, the Saints are Super Bowl contenders again and are reigning champs and if you've watched ESPN this year, you'd forget they were even a franchise! It's Dallas, Indy, Minny (Favre) and N.E who gets most of the coverage. I like it, we don't need no soggy writeups. We do our talking and highlight reels on the field and kiss trophies in the process .

its all the replay shows. even if you go to nfl.com they only show 3 plays in the highlights-

troys int.
a long pass to ward
and woodleys int.

randle els catch was one of the "top 10 plays of the week" and thats the only place i saw it on replay. they shoulda shown some more of the late hits on ben, especially when he was tackled and had his ankle steam rolled 4 steps after he threw the ball. :dang:

With the Steelers not punching it in, there's not much to see save for Troy and Carson's INT's. Personally, I find this year's team pretty dull and the entirety of that is due to the anemic offense.

even if you're a highlight reel junkie for offense light-ups, does it get any more exciting than Troy's play the last 2 games, even for the casual viewer?
