...Ben Roethlisberger leads our team and our team wins our division, gets our team a BYE, we win the divisional playoffs, we win the conference championship, we make it to the Super Bowl XLIV in Dallas, TX, we WIN the Super Bowl XLIV...

...say all of that happens...

...Would Ben Roethlisberger be eligable for Comeback Player of the Year?

On a side note: IF we win out, I stated at the beginning of the season the Steelers would go 12-4. I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, but I called that record. Just saying. =)

I'll be more than happy to. Don't you worry about that. Haha!

Mark Schlereth on NFL Live said Michael Vick should be the winner of the Comeback Player of the Year. I agree with him. But is Ben even eligable? Has a CBPOTY and MVP award ever went to the same person?

Goodell would have a heart attack, Arians would become the Bengals head coach, steelers hire back Whiz to be OC they win 5 more superbowls while Ben and Mendy both win and share the MVP award 5 straight years.

None of those answer my REAL question. But I DO appreciate your enthusiasm. =)

My first thought was that of Goodell as well. Especially since Vick showed up on ESPN radio last week thanking Goodell for his help in being a better person now. Hopefully he wiped the slobber of a goodell when he was done.

On to the question... Vick has the CBP hands down. Providing he doesn't get caught carving up the cat thats been wandering around his neighborhood.

Agree on BB and the Hall, especially since he will have about 8-10 years left in him. How sweet would that be to get up on the podium, take the the trophy from the Ex Commissioner of the NFL and display the the WWE DX motto. Than say, feel free to sus[end me 4 games again, thanks for the rest.

I can not see Arians being a head coach at all, he doesn't have that type of command.

True. But I almost wonder if he is even eligable. I'm sure there is some stipulation within the rules that a player cannot recieve this award based on a comeback from a suspension for off field transgressions. Watch Donte Stallowrth pull a Holmes and win the Super Bowl for the Ravens and win Comeback Player of the Year. THAT would be pretty effed up. Ha!

I think Ben Roethlisberger REALLY has to deliver the goods if he is even ELIGABLE for the award. I mean, win a Super Bowl, shit on the naysayers, snag your seat in the Hall of Fame, and take it from there. But knowing Ben, he probably doesn't care about that award. He just wants to win games.

I totally forgot. Arians could be offered jobs. I hope he goes to Dallas. That would be a joke

No, he is not eligable! He did not miss last season or any portion of it! Comeback means you were away fo a significant amount of time, not 4 games at the beginning of the year...

He could probably get an assistant coaching job. A head coaching job? No way.

IF he goes, I wish him nothing but the best and I hope he finds a home. But I hope he gets a job coaching the Swedish Chess Team. Stay out of football. Haha!

Bye Bye Arians, Welcome back Cowher. Maybe?

Welcome Cowher to where, he's a head coach, Tomlin wont get offers if he wins a superbowl, he's alreayd a head coach. Cowher would never become a DC if lebeau retires, and he definatally wouldn't be an OC
