I don't like Solder. He reminds me a lot of Bruce Campbell. Big athlete who is going to put up huge numbers in the 40 and other drills but not an overall great linemen. Plus what I have read so far on him, because of his height and arm length, he is a better fit in a pass heavy offense.

i would love that draft but i cant see Ellis making it to the 4th. i couldnt be happier with the first 4 picks. it would be great to draft a great LT so we can move Starks to the right side and Colon to guard. we would have one of the top lines in football and Mendy would have a 1500 yard season.

i also love the corner and NT and there positions we really need

Unfortunately the odds of an instant upgrade at left tackle falling too us are pretty bad. Which is why I think we should sign a FA left tackle and then move Starks and Colon. By doing so we would upgrade 3 positions on the line with one signing and still have a 1st round pick to use on another area of concern. I know the Steelers don't go after big name free agents, but it's a move that makes sense. Maybe they can make a trade similar to the one that brought us Bettis(obviously a LT will cost more than a 2nd and 4th).

there were very good LT's in the draft last year and the year before after the 1st round. just because most writers dont think they will be top LT's dosnt mean they wont. if we drafted Jared Veldheer in the 2nd round last year he would of been our starting LT for the next 12 years
