I'm not one who believes in fate or superstition when it comes to football but I noticed that after today, Ben's (throwing) touchdown total for this year's regular season came out to 17.

I'm sure you'll remember what happened the last time he had 17 total TDs in the regular season... Super Bowl XLIII.

And the time before that? Super Bowl XL.

And the time before that? AFC Championship Game.

Just some fun food for thought. I don't know... I've always felt like 14 is our unlucky number in Pittsburgh between Neil O'Donnell and Limas Sweed... but between Ben's luck when he throws 17 TDs and our new #1 receiver who happens to wear #17... maybe fate is at work after all. :tt02::tt02::tt02:

Big Ben is 3 wins away from becoming a first ballet hall of famer. He is the undeniable key to winning it all, like before. More so this year actually. He will need to keep Brady off the field if they play the Pats in the AFC title game. It will be Ben who puts us over the top one way or the other....

14 an unlucky number? Ben had 2 rushing touchdowns this season, giving him 14 in his career and finished averaging about 14 yards rushing per game... lol

LOL, well, that is true. Maybe there are no unlucky numbers... only lucky ones!

the steelers are also +17 in the turnover ratio. ...which happens to be 2nd in the league. the pats are 1st with +28 , the falcons are 3rd with +14 .... is it a coincidence the 3 teams leading in the turnover ratio , happens to be the 3 teams with the best records ?

Also. The Dallas Cowboys very first game as a new franchise played in 1960 was against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Steelers won 35-28. Dallas's first SB will be played there and the 1st SB played in their new stadium... another sign of things to come ?

guess how many touchdowns brady throwed this year, how many he throwed against us this season, then how many he has averaged a game against us, then have some food for thought when we play them in the AFCG.

You're a real party pooper.
But
36, 3, and he averages inbetween 2 and 3 against the steelers.
