That's a cool way to celebrate...and it won't muck up the home opener.

As for the bands, well, they are popular with the ladies.

I'm buying tickets. I can deal with Bon Jovi even though I'm not much of a fan. Nickleback on the other hand, it's going to be tough. I don't like them personally.

I've seen them (Nickleback), and they put on a very "80's Metal" show (Which I enjoyed).

i saw nickelback live in march and i was sleeping on them for along time, they are badass live IMO, f'k bon jovi, that dude needs to burn every record he's been on and then go hide in a hole. i actually wouldn't even go to this show if i lived around pittsburgh even for free all because of that queer bon jovi

hmm I don't know if I'll go, probably depends on the price of tickets. I want to go for the celebration and I like Bon Jovi but I cannot stand Nickelback :yuck:

That would be a great show. I like Bon Jovi better now than I did in the '80s. And already seen Nickleback at Star Lake.

NB is a great live show to see. Their music has great intensity, and they have legitimate musical talent.

You could do a helluva lot WORSE, I know that! Heh. I got my tickets today for Steelers Fanfest.

And that's the reason why I'm going to attend. Nickleback does nothing for me personally, I think they should stick to selling out to the NHL, but the celebrations and the fact that we could have had the Back Street Boys is reason enough for me to go.

lol when I saw the Backstreet Boys on the Pro Bowl this year this was pretty much the look on my face

Wow, that's going to be a horrible concert.

If they wanted to make it a real Pittsburgh Concert, they should have got Anti- Flag and Don Caballero. But I don't Anti-Flag would agree to do such a concert, and Don Caballero is unfortunately no longer together.

I wouldn't expect someone who is excited to see Bon Jovi would know who Anti-Flag or Don Caballero are.
