No Steelers postseason run is complete without them.

Referring of course to the grand tradition of ridiculous Steelers songs and parodies.

From the Steeler Polka, to the late great Myron Cope's many schticks, to the ear-stabbingly annoying yet undeniably catchy Here We Go!, the clever Puhlahmahlu and the adorable Pop Rocks, the Steelers have more homegrown fight songs than probably any sports team this side of the Premier League. Not to mention Renegade and Black & Yellow, which are actually real songs.

So, for 2010, the talented Squirrel Hill a capella group "In Acchord" improbably turns Lady Gaga's massive hit "Bad Romance" into a Steelers song.

Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting "Steel Defense" ...

Very well played folks! Nice voice. Pitch-perfect delivery. Tres clever lyrics -- kudos for successfully making a refrain out of Tomlin, Polamalu, and Roethlisberger; dissing Steely McBeam; and -- bonus! -- a sample of Myron Cope.

The "video," as it were, has some good tongue-in-cheek touches -- the Brett Kiesel bit is priceless -- and the images are not only well choreographed to the music & lyrics but a nice reflection of the often downright goofy passion of Steelers fans.

And clearly Gaga herself would probably approve:
