Steelers are 2nd with 31 all-time post season wins. If we win the Super Bowl, we will take the lead with 34 wins and overtake the Cowboys with a win in their city on their home field. A nice goal to strive for.

That would a nice stat to hear about all off-season, along with our record 7th super bowl win. I think we are also catching up to Dallas in regular season wins in the super bowl era. I think they have 415, and we are second with 396 (we just passed Miami this year, who is now 3rd with 394).

But stlrtruck is right, let's not look too far into the future. Here we go Steelers!

C'mon guys...im not even thinking superbowl at this point...each team can be equally dangerous in the playoffs so dont overlook anyone in the playoffs no matter who it is!!!! Lets just take care of business!!!

I understand and agree that, as fans, we should be happy with the reality of the present (We are division champs and in the playoffs!), and enjoy everything while it is happening. And we all remember 2001; we all had ourselves crowned champions, and when reality hit, man did it hurt.
But also as fans we can afford to look further down the line than players who have to stay focused.

what in the ___ are we talkin' bout here. I'm just tryin to understand your approach here. ?
MY Steelers never wanted to be "america's sweethearat team" -they just proved it baby, 'cause we already knew we were. unlike ALL the other teams, we have never "HAD" to prove it that way, instead, the Steelers' EARNED IT - by Winning, it ain't supposed to be easy to figure it out.
:)
AND that is why the :tt04: are Beloved worldwide.

I guess my point is that players need to stay focused, but as fans we don't have to be prepared for the opposite team and can afford to look a little further ahead.

Let's face it, you know the Steelers are America's team, I know the Steelers are America's team, and it is up to us to stand up for our team, not because the Steelers' players need to hear how great they are, but because there are some other nfl fans who seem to disagree.
Put that way, I guess we have a moral obligation to let Baltimore fans know that their team sucks!

Exactly the Seahawks are beating the Saints right now where they weren't even supposed to be in the game.

33 post season wins and only 5 superbowl wins to show for it

it'd be nice to boast about most post season wins, but ultimately no one cares about that, its superbowls that matter, and we have the most :tt02:

Only 5? lol.

I'd like to see how many post season loses the cowboys have.

yes, I was referencing the fact that they have more post season wins but less superbowl wins... more post season wins should correlate to more superbowl wins but it doesn't because we're better, we've done more with less :flap: :tt02:
