View Full Version : Saints/Seachickens Game

I almost forgot this was on today lol. Just not used to thinking about football on Saturdays.

Saints are up 10-7 in the game, Seachickens just scored a TD. Seattle's actually playing well, but I highly doubt they'll be able to outlast the Saints.

SteelCityMom

Is it wrong of me that I'm having trouble paying attention to this game?

Saints are about to score again, at least a FG.

Mom, I think the longer this game goes, and Seattle can stay between 7-10 points, the more dangerous they might be. Cause you know Seattle will pull out everything from their book.

Yeah, possibly. I'm just not sure I see it happening. Though there's a small, small part of me that always roots for the underdog. If it were anyone other than the Seahawks, I'd root a little bit harder lol.

17-7 Saints now.

SteelCityMom

Wow...Chickens just made it 17-14. Gotta hand it to them, they came to play today. We'll see if they can keep it up.

The color commentator is the college analysts for the NFL network, the coach of the seahawks big coach in college, so he probably is more biased towards a team he coaches.

You and me both.

Pete Carrol is one of the greatest big game coaches there is. At USC, you couldn't count on the Trojans to beat Arizona St, but they usually always won their bowl games.

I hope they somehow make it to the superbowl.. Make it easy for the Steelers to win :)
Or if somehow the Patriots make it, they beat the Patriots, which would be awesome.. not as awesome as the Steelers beating the Patriots in the AFC championship game and breaking Brady's legs

SteelCityMom
01-08-2011, 06:37 PM

I said that the 4 point lead at the begining of the 3rd quarter would be the deciding factor of this game. Saints will probably score here, but they'll still need a touchdown to win, I don't think they can get 2 touchdowns here.

I didn't expect the run, I doubt the Seahawks expected it either, but nice job on the stop... Nice element of surprise... Just didn't work lol.

If they punt, Brees will be down in his own 10 with about 30 seconds left, I doubt he could win the game, not even Brady could pull that out of his ass.

I mean come on what does the Seahawks have shown prior to this game? Special Teams? Well they did the opposite. ST didn't do well, but Offense and Defense Dominated.

Most of the shock from the Giants/Pats game was a wildcard team beating the 18-0 Patriots. And even more so in the manner they did. With David Tyree's catch and on during that game.

This is awesome, but I don't think it matches that. Mainly because it took place in the Wildcard round, had this been the NFCG then maybe.

Personal opinion though, and we all know they are like assholes. :twocents:
