This guy was the greatest RB who ever lived, the only team other than the Steelers I watched growing up was the lions, just to watch barry sanders play.

who's yours?

but barry sanders takes the cake. i loved watching him as much as anybody.

I would have to say Johnny Unitas.

You weren't even alive yet when Joe Montana was playing. What do you know about Johnny Unitas. :sofunny:

I have to go with Barry Sanders as well. A truly remarkable runner. I loved watching the Lions play back then.

i'd say Barry Sanders too, the guy was without question the greatest RB ever....imagine if he played for a good team! And he was such a great guy, you were always rooting for him to do well.

Isn't he a professional eater now?

What can you say about a society where a person can make money by stuffing his face?

Right now I'd have to say Clay Matthews.

Lester "The Molester" Hayes. When you resort to stickem, you have an overwhelming desire to win.

As a kid, I liked Speedy Duncan. I returned punts when I played, and i use to pretend I was him while I was waiting for the boot. I also played RB and Safety. I used to imagine myself as Matt Snell as a running back.

Bo Jackson and Walter Payton were my favorite running backs that I loved to watch. As well as Tony Dorsett.

Anybody remeber Warren Wells? If he had kept playing, he'd be in the HOF. I liked Wells.

I'm only 30, so most of my football watching was 1990 - Present. I'd have to say that the guy I enjoyed watching the most over the years has been Brett Favre. Plus, I always enjoy hearing all of his sound bites. Barry Sanders was definitely electrifying to watch, and is a close second. I'd have to say that right now, besides Favre, my favorite current non-Steeler is Clay Matthews.
