poprocks The last Steelers run in the playoffs got an unlikely anthem from an up-and-coming teen group called The Pop Rocks putting Black and Gold lyrics to Pat Benatar's "Heartbreakers." It was not only good, it was kind of adorable.

With the team back in the post-season The Pop Rocks have popped up once again turning Blue Oyster Cult's monster classic "Godzilla" into "Go Steelers (Godzilla)." (See URL at top for link to video - mesa)

This time, The Pop Rocks are a legitimate "teen" group with singer Courtney Brown, of Slippery Rock, now 14. One of the revelations here is the work of Elijah Davis, who shreds through the whole affair.

He's the son of Duane Davis, who runs The Davis School of Guitar Performance in Harmony. Looks like he's learned a few things from his old man and the 14-year-old will be riffing for metal bands for years to come.

This is not poprocks but it is pretty good. It has my favorite AZ Steelers bar, Harold's Corral, in it.
