(For the first and only time I agree with a Ratbird! Glad to see that other teams think what we already knew, the Cheats Super Bowls are bogus. - mesa)

Terrell Suggs: Tom Brady's Super Bowls are 'questionable'

Tom Brady likely will remain a center of controversy if the New England Patriots end up playing the Baltimore Ravens next week in the AFC title game.

Terrell Suggs -- already in the spotlight this week for incendiary comments about his matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday -- on Thursday said that Brady's three Super Bowl victories with the New England Patriots were "questionable."

By Stephan Savoia, AP

Speaking with Sirius XM's Mad Dog Radio, Suggs was complimenting Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger and saying how his opponent belongs in the top echelon of NFL QBs. Comparing Roethlisberger's two Super Bowl wins to Brady's three is when Suggs -- who has a history of sparring with the Patriots QB -- questioned Brady's resume.

"He's got the tuck rule incident (in 2001 playoffs against Oakland Raiders) and you got the videotaping of other teams' practices," Suggs said. "It's like "Oh OK what's going on here?'

"But hey, it is what it is. They won the games no matter how you did it."

It's the latest salvo between Suggs and Brady -- and an indication of more bad words that could come if the Ravens beat the Steelers and the Patriots beat the Jets in this week's AFC divisional playoffs.

Suggs said the bad blood between them stems from an October 2009 game when Brady received the benefit of two roughing-the-passer penalties -- one against Suggs -- that the Ravens bitterly contested. (Baltimore's Ray Lewis called the officiating that day "embarrassing.")

"I guess it all brews from when I nicked his knee a little bit," Suggs said about the origin of their rivalry. "I was like, 'Wow you almost hit a guy and get flagged?' I never knew one man could have so much power."

Jets CB Antonio Cromartie attacked Brady this week with a profanity-laced tirade and New York coach Rex Ryan joined Cromartie in saying that Brady taunted the team during a 45-3 loss at New England last month.

Suggs was asked what in Brady provokes such animated reactions from opponents.

"Maybe because he's Tom Brady and he dates supermodels," he said with a laugh (Brady's wife if supermodel Gisele Bundchen). "That could have a lot to do with it.

"Man, this guy's got the world -- he's winning Super Bowls and dating supermodels. It don't get much better than that ... rules made for him. He gets to tell the referee when to throw the flag."

Brady, who brushed off Cromartie's criticism on Wednesday, has sparred verbally with Suggs at times this year. After a 23-20 Patriots win in overtime in October, Suggs vowed to get the last laugh.

Brady said then of Suggs and the Ravens, "You know, we've played those guys a lot, and they've beat us one time in all the times that I've played them. They talk a lot for beating us once in nine years."

Suggs this week declared that the Ravens-Steelers matchup was like "World War III" and was the real Super Bowl, and then wore a T-shirt with a crude image aimed at Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

I don't know if they're "questionable", per se, but Brady had alot of opportunities to hit throws, and he just missed them.

Was he preoccupied with other things in his life? He sure had that "deer in the headlights" look throughout.

Brady is an asshole
**** him.
lol

From what his play performances have been like from 2005-present in the playoffs, he is a questionable playoff quarterback. Consistancy is what makes a player great, and other than 3 seasons, he hasn't had consistancy in the playoffs. I say he never makes it another superbowl.

Those 3 superbowls out of 4 years are just 3 seasons that will be remembered but never relived. Brady will turn into Brett Favre. His greatness is long gone and he'll still be playing, trying to relive what was once lost.
