That would be the worst, possible scenario, if Holmes
ended up working up some of his game-winning magic
on Pgh, knocking us out of the Super Bowl. If he ends
up with a game winning catch vs. us, I won't be able to
stomach it. This season, he has been his same "drop-
the-ball-too-often" self. But he has also become the
"make-insane-catches-to-win-the-most-important-games"
self as well.

Please, gadzooks, do not let him beat us in the clutch. It would
just make me ill, if we traded him for a 5th rounder over smoking
some hippie lettuce if the move costs us a trip to the Super Bowl.

Think of it this way...trading him helped us by getting rid of NE. hopefully we can stop him though. i know what you mean. They did alright in the first game. We just need to have Troy or Clark help double team him. Sanchez still has to throw him the ball.

If we get ahead by 2 TDs it's over.

It may bite us in the butt Sunday, but I look at it this way...we would have lost him anyway as he was in the last year of his contract, trading him also allowed us to draft and keep both Sanders and Brown which will serve us very well Sunday and in the years to come.

Simple way (or maybe not so simple) to keep Santo from making the big game winning catch, get up by 14 or more points and keep our foot on them.

Big players make big plays in special moments. Santanio has a knack for it. He worries me because it's a big game and he wants revenge for what he feels was unfair treatment by the Steelers and the Rooney family. I think it's a bit immature because he was to blame for all of his problems, but that's Tone. But, I have confidence that our D will be up for the challenge.
