Just wondering but, lets look at this little stat. In Pittsburgh's other 2 Super Bowl appearances in the 2005 and 2008 seasons,,,Ben had 17 TD passes in each of those seasons. And we went, and won the Super Bowls in each of those seasons. Now, lets look at Ben's two BEST Statistical seasons. In 2007, Ben had 32 TD passes, and a QB rating of over 104...but the Steelers lost in the playoffs to Jacksonville. And then last season Ben had 26 TD passes, and a QB rating of over 100, and we didn't even make the playoffs. Well, now THIS season, even with the 4 games missed,,,anyone know how many TD passes Ben had ?

17,,,Is it the MAGIC Number :noidea: Trends Baby...trends! :tt04:

who knows, maybe from now on we need to bench ben for the season whenever he hits the 17 mark ;)

What I would say to that number might be more leading to how much ben is carrying out team versus having a really good running game backing him up.

Try to look at if there were just less TD in the SB years or if the RB had more TD. If there is a correlation there I would assume it could mean its just a more complete team?

Then again Ben did miss 4 games which would probably boost his # up to the mid 20's...
