A Superbowl between the Steelers and the Packers really has no business being played in a dome and in a warm weather city. This game deserves to be played in a stadium open to the elements, and in a city with a good chance of having severe cold, snow, and or ice. This really should be the matchup for the 2014 New Jersey Superbowl.

Oh well, HERE WE GO! :tt:

At least we can take comfort in the fact this is the closest we can get to seeing the Cowbells fanbase and Jerry Jones foam at the mouth in rage, apart from the Redskins playing in their Dome. :chuckle:

That would work better for the Steelers - Green Bay was a scary good offense when it torched the Falcons in the Georgia Dome last week

Could you imagine all of the multi-millionaires who go to the Super Bowl JUST to be seen ... in a cold weather game??...sitting on their soft little hands to keep 'em warm?? Have to tell ya...we start thinking about closing windows at 20-degrees - Texas wussies see a little bit snow and temps in the 50's and they're whining like school girls.

Seriously, hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in Dallas does have a certain appeal to it - frankly, the only fans coming close to the level of stupidity the Bears and Vikies have reached are... the fans of the Cowbags.

Still and the same, I couldn't imagine a better group of fans to share a Super Bowl with than the Steelers' fans. Congrats on another great season.

The last superbowl that wasn't a fair weather game was the Superbowls and vikings in superbowl 9.

I'd love to see a superbowl in the snow in Lambeau field.
