We still have to win the next one though. Rodgers has been awesome for us and I appreciate having the guy.

I'm just kidding...good luck to you guys (but not too much). :tt02:

i just got my mine yesterday.

the text on the enlarged double page photo reads-

The Steelers felt singled out by the NFL's crackdown on violent shots- so they dedicated themselves even more deeply to bring the pain on defense. The result: a beatdown of the c0cky Jets, and yet another trip to the Super Bowl.

THE HITS KEEP COMING

goodell is a lifelong jets fan isnt he? im worried about the zebras this game.

These are the links to Steelers stories in the current issue of SI

The Curtain Rises
In facing the Packers, these Steelers—like their teams of old—will make their case on defense

And I do not know where else this fits so I will put it here - SI has a great story on what football has meant to Aliquippa as that town has changed from a mill town that lost its mill

The Heart Of Football Beats In Aliquippa
Over five decades of economic decline and racial conflict, a Western Pennsylvania mill town has found unity and hope on the football field

oh yeah... i forgot.

people no longer get SI for the articles anymore. they read them online for free. :chuckle:

(thanks for the links)

did you see that real sports special with peter king and his MMQB aricle? i think they were saying that has more readers each week than SI has subscribers.

Did not see the special but I believe it - King's MMQB column is a Monday morning ritual for me

For a while this past fall SI tried to force folks to buy the current issue of the magazine to download to an IPad in order to read the current issue when it comes out, but apparently gave up that idea - readers think a reasonable price for everything online is free
