What's your most prized Steelers item in your collection? It would be great to see some treasured pieces and the stories that go with it.

Wow, good question. I have decades worth of stuff passed down, all kept safely in my Steelers locker-box. I add to it every day and expect to add the new James Harrison Sports Illustrated to it by tomorrow.

I have newspapers from the 70's passed down from my dad, as well as EVERY TICKET STUB I've ever attended with Steelers games. Last season, my brother bought me a Santonio Holmes autographed, MVP Super Bowl XLIII jersey, but I'd have to say the prize would be my dad's Immaculate Reception ticket stub. Amazing.

I actually have my Grandfather's Terrible Towel sealed in plastic, on display in my living room. He had that towel by his side for every Steelers game, waving it around, screaming his head off, living and dying on each play. He always use to make me when I was a young kid, watch Steeler games with him, trying to get me too remember some of the players names, what penalties were called for etc. My father is a Cowboys fan and tried to convert me as a Cowboy fan, but it never worked. I finally came around and revived the tradition of my Grandfather and became a Steelers fan.

Taken from my camera phone. I'll try to get a good pic. It's actually ripped in a few spots, but it's in pretty good condition considering it was 1972. My dad and his three brothers went, he was 15 years old. I think he said they were in section 632, peanut heaven but ended up on the field after the game. Face price is $10.15. The stories are incredible.

It's framed on the wall with pride.

Right now it's my Super Bowl tickets for next Sunday's game. I have a punch of framed pictures in the basement. I'd have to say Bettis trucking Urlacher in the snow in 2005 is my favorite.

Good question. I think it would be too pretentious to frame it; let it waste it's existence on a wall or something. Oh, nay nay.

I immediately made it my lucky jersey and have worn the shit out of it ever since. It's over a decade old now. When my season is over, I'll consider giving it to you, just for asking.

My shirt that has all the Super Bowls on it, two different Steeler hats, 1 Terrible Towel that came from Three Rivers Stadium when I was there in 1996, another Terrible Towel that came from Station Square, same time, Steeler bandanas, Steeler towel and THE MOST IMPORTANT THING OF ALL:

Bill Cowher autographed a picture of me and my beloved dog Pooh in Steeler gear and sent it back to us! The week of my birthday. 1996. Pure magical memories.

My Dad's original Terrible Towels (one black, one gold) that were passed down to me. They come out every gameday. And of course all the memories of watching the games with him. I know I used to get on his last nerve with all the questions I'd ask during the game, but he never kicked me out of the room or threw beer at me...so it must've been ok. :chuckle:

Superbowls are still bittersweet for me (yeah I know, they're just a game :blah: ). I was born a few months after the Steelers won in '80, and he died in '03. We got to watch 30 together, but it would have been awesome to enjoy a SB win with him.

My father's terrible towel he gave me many years ago. It had seen better days so I framed it. I still needed one to wave around so i got my new Terrible Towel (http://foxsports.teamfanshop.com/FOX_Pittsburgh_Steelers_Gameday_And_Tailgate/Pittsburgh_Steelers_Gold_Super_Bowl_XLV_Bound_Terr ible_Towel) for this Sunday! Go Steelers in Super Bowl 45!

It would probably be either my Steelers helmet (from the Sears Christmas catalog) from about '79 or '80, still emblazoned with the home-made "12" on the front and back, or my Steeler paint-it-yourself statue I got from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in '82. Both make it out for display during get-togethers and big games.

While I doubt I have the Steeler memorabilia that some of you have (I'm green with envy to be honest),I do have multiple Jerseys,Steeler programs,Autographs from a few Steelers, license plate frame, hats, tshirts, sweatshirts, fridge magnets,Steeler Hardhat,2 Custom Painted Cairns Leather Firefighter Helmets one for display and one I wear at work), Terrible towels from the 70's and a picture of Franco and I at an airport waiting for a flight...

The one possession I value the most are the memories of Steeler seasons past that reside in my heart and the faith in things to come.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Faith can be found in all things. The hope that I live another day to watch my children grow up and give me grand kids to play with, is Faith. For someone who has undergone great grief or loss of a loved one...The Faith that tomorrow brings yet a new day can be quite comforting. I know. I've been there as many of you have.

My greatest Steeler possession is my Steeler Faith.

I Believe.
