I'm concerned about Santonio Holmes' character. He's 22 years old with 2 kids already and unmarried.

I dunno... that bothers me for some reason. oh well... Here's hoping he turns out the be the second coming of Hines Ward.

Don't worry, the Steelers don't sign people who aren't model citizens...isn't that right?

You can't really comment on anyone's draft and say that they got much better because the facts are that close to half of all draft picks turn out to be busts.

Holmes is a family first kinda guy, his priority is to play football and take care of his family. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders and a good work ethic.

on the note of AFCN..

BUNGALS,RATBIRDS, AND CLOWNS BEWARE.. THE 5 TIME SUPER BOWL CHAMPS ARE ON ANOTHER SEEK AND DESTROY MISSION IN 2006...AND ALL 3 OF YOU ARE ON THE RADAR !

actually i think its 3 kids with 2 different women (not quite shawn kemp). i think the mother of the 2 is out of the picture cause he is a single dad with custody (larry foote).

half of ALL draftpicks???(17 of 22 starters of the sb champs were steeler draftpicks- 2 more were unrestricted rookie f.a.'s) youve been a bengalfan for too long. i guess youre correct if you average out the steelers great drafts with the bengals sucky sucky ones. hell, even a practice squad player like noah herron gets a start with other teams and b. st. pierre still has a job. (a. wright too)

pittsburghs last 3 1st round qb's:

bradshaw
malone
roethlisberger

bengals last 3 1st round qb's:

klingler
smith
palmer

advantage: steelers

I think our Steelers are better also. But our divison is getting much better as well.

The Browns did have a very good draft. Plus if they can get their young players healthy on offense for a change that would be a step in the right direction. I expect the Browns to continue to improve under Romeo but it won't reflect in the win column this year.

The Bengals if they want to win the AFC North again it all depends on the health of Carson Palmer. Palmer seems to be improving faster then orginally thought. But still I don't expect Carson to be 100 percent when the season starts. Bengals needed to improve their defense during the offseason. They did sign Sam Adams and draft some players for the defense. I expect the Bengals to challenge for the AFC North. But with Carson coming off that type of injury and the fact the Bengals will have a first place schedule is reasons why they won't win the North.

The Ravens still have that defense and a running game. Their season will hinder on the QB play. If they get McNair and if he stays healthy they will be better. But if its Boller again there will be no playoffs for the Ravens again.

It might bother me if he wasn't going to be getting guaranteed millions. There are lots of people getting married at a young age, both for the right reasons/situations and the wrong reasons/situations...

Thte fact that we got better makes this upcoming season even more exciting, after the 15-1 season we couldn`t stand to wait any longer for the season opener. Now we are World Champs, and as you said we just got better. We have a young eneough team to stay up for along while
