no problem. this is must read tv for me. theres some great insight in these interviews. in the santonio holmes interview we find out:
h. miller WAS rated above matt jones last year.
s. holmes was higher on their board than l. white
they were still interrested in white even after holmes had been selected.
also excellent insight on their different draft strategies.

from darren perry we get a look at their draft board. safety rankings:
and then our man a. smith
Have you talked to any University of Pittsburgh coaches about Smith?
No I did not. I watched a lot of video on this kid. The more you watched him, the more you were impressed with him. He's a complete player. We brought him in. I spent some time with him on the board, he's very sharp. I don't think he'll have a problem coming in and learning our system at all because that's another area that we take very seriously, guys being able to come in and pick up our system because it's complicated and it does take guys some time to learn it and he was pretty sharp from day one when we sat down and talked about it.
Did you talk to [Syracuse coach] Greg Robinson?
No I didn't have to. This guy's video speaks for itself. If you know anything about football and put the video on, you see a good football player.
Tyrone and Clark will be battling for that starting spot. You hope that Anthony can come in and compete and contribute early on.
Can Smith play special teams?
Big time. He's blocked punts. If he doesn't become a starter in his first year, which is going to be tough to do because he's got some competition there, but he's a guy that can come in and contribute and help us out in a lot of other areas.

**** (richard) hoak on c. humes. says that he is a running back, not a back up full back. also some interresting quotes on drafting lendale white:
Does Duce (Staley) get first crack at Bettis' role?
Yes, but Verron Haynes is still in the mix. Don't forget about Verron. Verron is a very good short-yardage runner and a goal-line guy. When we would have goal line practices at training camp, Verron stuck it up there pretty good and has done some good things. Willie is the guy coming into camp and you have Duce and Verron so they all will get a shot at that role.
Is Verron capable of doing both 3rd down and short yardage runs?
Yes. Sure, don't count him out, but we are hoping that Duce does. You are hoping that you have Willie and Duce will take that role that Jerome had and Verron will be your third down guy. And we'll see where this guy fits in. It's going to be his chance to move one of those guys out.
Would you like to get a veteran running back before camp?
I know what you are eluding to. I don't know what we are going to do. I'm the wrong guy to ask. Don't ask me that question. You are going to have to ask someone else that question.
What are you thoughts on not getting LenDale White?
I think that he is a very good player. He fell because of a lot of rumors were out about him and that is why he fell so low. He is a first round back. If you get somebody like that didn't have any of those types of problems would have been great but that's all passed now. He is a great player. We had him in here. We talked to him. He was very intelligent. He knows football and he did a good job in his interview here.
