This is what you call a CLASS ACT!!!

Subject: Polamalu

This is a nice story that came from Bob Milie, a former trainer at
Duquesne and the Steelers.

My cousin was out to dinner at a locally well known Italian restaurant
in Sarver PA - up beyond New Ken. Polamalu (unmistakeable with his
hair) and his wife were also eating there that evening.

Everyone was discrete enough not to disturb them.

After finishing dinner, Polamalu rose, asked for everyone's attention
and thanked them all for not disturbing him and his wife while they

He then announced that, in appreciation, he was getting everyone's
check and if anyone wanted, he'd sign autographs for a few minutes
before they left.

Can't you just see Barry Bonds doing something like this!

Polamalu is one of the most cerebral and quiet men in the NFL. He's one of the genuinely good guys in professional sports, as well as a hell of a player and future hall of famer:D

I had a chance to meet Troy his rookie season at a pre-season game in Charlotte, NC(downtown Hilton) he was very polite and graciuos he signed some autographs and let me take a picture with him. He always signs and leaves a scripture verse with his signature. By the way that is the visiting teams hotel for anyone interested in this years Panthers game.

Here's hoping that the Steelers continue to draft quality, classy people like Troy Polamalu well into the future. The main reasons I cheer so hard for this franchise is the principles that the Steelers stand for in all aspects of running a professional football team.

This story makes me proud to be a Steelers fan.

this is why i ain't to worried about him leaving, he's a humble dude, and i doubt there's a lot of players in pro sports that would ever think about giving away their money for nothing. i think if we offer him a fair contract he'll sign it right away, i don't think it's about the green for him.........but i could be way off on this lol

I was so stoked not only that the Steelers got this warrior but also how they got him. After chronic under-achievement and pathetic coaching for about a decade and a half the most public face for USC became that A-hole Keyshawn. Nice huh.

It's no fluke that Polamalu was there at the beginning of the restoration of Trojan football.

And it's no fluke that he is in Pittsburgh and a core component of a Steeler Super Bowl.
