View Full Version : Who Needs to step up?

For the Steelers to win, I believe it is Troy that needs to "step it up." His performances in the Steelers last two Super Bowls were noteworth for his lack of significant impact. Yes, it is possible that the teams choose to throw in the other direction, but in any case, he must be a more obvious factor this time around. :tt04:

On defense - McFadden, Big Play Willie Gay (Tomlin called him that on the 2008 highlights video:chuckle:) and Anthony Madison

Packers are going to use the Saints and Pats playbook - spread 'em out and throw 40 times - Taylor, Troy & Clark will be fine but if you are successful against the Steelers you make your gains against the second tier DBs

On offense - Legursky (for blocking in the middle and line calls) & "Young Money" (Wallace, Sanders & Brown)

Hood and Brett K. If they can constantly do there job Rodgers won't have the time to find an open Wr and we will win. We can score around 24 points so as long as we hold them to 2tds we will win

BRONCO - and the Secondary. If they play strong we win.

McFadden, Clark, Polamalu (he's been mostly invisible in the playoffs) and the entire O-line, especially, Legursky if Pouncey is out. That O-line is going to have to suck it up and overachieve if he's out or Ben's in for a long night. I have faith they can step it up and get the job done.

the secondary has to cover well. If Rodgers has a bad game I think its safe to say we are going to win.

Ben can play bad stat wise and we can win. Not sure Rodgers can play bad stat wise and win.

Our second, third, and fourth corners, and our defensive line. I believe Troy, Ike, and our LBs will play well anyway. Also, we need to win field position and special teams.
