Sure, everyone on this forum will be watching the Super Bowl. But do you actually know anyone that will not be tuning in at 6:30pm?

I think the TV stats are something like 50% of all Americans will stop what they are doing (including work) and will be watching a television during the game.

Who are the other 150 million people and what will they be doing? Watching America's Funniest Home Videos? Working somewhere without a TV? Sleeping, getting ready for the night shift at Walmart?

Stupid question, but really wanna know.

I am sure Tom will watch - he appreciates the Steelers.

Good luck from a Pats Fan.

Hey thanks, and it's too bad it wasn't the Pats instead of the Jets. That would have been a much better game.
Maybe next time.

I could be a smartass and say Rex Ryan or something.

Seriously though, I only know of two people. My fiance's brother and one of his bandmates. They hate football, so they won't be watching at all.

taking a glance at the TV guide during the 7:00 slot, i see a lot of television geared towards kids and women.. so i think those are the people who make up most of the 150 million. then you have people who work and the small percentage of men who purposely won't be watching.

That's right - Pitt and NE are the NFL's top franchise. Great teams who play the game the right way...always there, year in and year out.

I will not watch. I will go downtown and just wait and see if the party begins around me about 9pm.

my dad might turn the game on at some point to see how it's going, because he knows I like the Steelers. Other than that, he won't be watching the game. He's one of those people who just has no interest in sports.

I couldn't tell you what he'll be doing though, probably reading something.

Well...........if I accidentally dump Drano in my eyes workin on the sink...and my spittin Cobra gets out of line after......and a meteor crashes into my satellite dish.....and my neighbors dish....and my town. And theres an Islamic uprising that suddendly bans football. And my beer goes bad and puts me in a 3 hour coma.

But barring that common cause..............GAME ON!!!!

Tom Brady just texted me................he aint watchin either.

Thousands of wives will be shopping at Nordstrom and other stores.I am a contractor doing remodels at Nordstrom and was told sales are up over 40% compared to average Sundays.
