Acupuncture helped Duce Staley's hamstring heal. He only wishes he could use such medicine to save his father from dying.

Staley flew back to Columbia, S.C., soon after the Steelers' final minicamp practice yesterday to be home with the father he barely knew. It took Lannie Staley's terminal cancer to bring father and son together after two decades of separation brought on by divorce.

Yesterday may have been Mother's Day but, for now, each day is Father's Day for Duce Staley as he makes up for time lost and time that will never be.

That was a pretty good piece on him and his mother, I guess it is tough. At least his dad didn`t come back right after he was drafted looking for hand outs!

WOW, that must be tough. I'm glad he's getting to spend a little time with his father now. My prayers will be going out to him!

Wow how sad. I guess it is good they are spending time together now. Hopefully they get alot more of it..when you hear something like this it makes you realize your life isnt all that bad.....
