The Steelers hosted four college prospects today, including a pair of cornerbacks and Boise State wide receiver Austin Pettis.

In addition to Pettis, the Steelers met with cornerbacks Cortez Allen from The Citadel and Ras-I Dowling from Virginia at their South Side headquarters as well as University of Maryland running back Da'rel Scott.

Teams are allowed to host 30 out of town draft prospects prior to the draft, which will be held April 28-30.

Dowling in the 1st, please! With each passing day, Dowling's stock is getting closer and closer to Rd 1. I don't see how we pick Aaron Williams over Dowling if both are available. I know Dowling has more injury concerns, but really it was one bad year for him medically, and it looks as if he's fully recovered.

I REALLY do not want Williams at 31, but alas, the front office has done a lot more research than I, and if Williams is the pick, then so be it.

Wait, what were we talking about? Oh yeah, visits, sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread with my anti-Williams banter. :)
