I don't know about you folks, but I am from Canada, and it is a sin to not like hockey here. It has been a surprise this season, Edmonton, Anaheim, Carolina, Buffalo in the final four, no one could've predicted all 4 there. Maybe 1 or 2, but not all 4.

Who do you think will meet and win the Stanley Cup?

Mine is

Anaheim vs Buffalo

Anaheim.

Well I don't watch the NHL at all. So I wouldn't have a clue.

Buffalo vs Edmonton = Buffalo wins the cup. At least I hope that's what happens. Miller will help carry them to the Holy Land.

Edmonton takes two games away from Anaheim in Anaheim and Buffalo plays Carolina tonight with Buffalo leading the series 1-0.

They are a surprising team this year, that's for sure. But they are the last team remaining in these playoffs that I would want to see win the cup. I'd like to see Buffalo for three reasons........

1) They never won a cup.

2) They are one of the small market teams in the league that has a good hockey following but over the years got screwed by the NHL while teams such as Detroit, Colorado, Philly and NY were either winning cups or making consistant cup runs. Sound familiar? lol.

3) I always root for American based teams to win the cup.

Im rooting for Buffalo as alot of my buddies are from the area, just wish they would go back to the Blue and Gold though. Check out the Uni's this one guy made, very Penguin'esque but for the Sabers... http://www.celsiusdesign.net/sabres/index.html

I really am not a big time hockey fan how ever I do follow it from time to time so I am pulling for Edmonton because they knocked off the team I hate the most the Red Wings

The way Rloson is standing on his head, it will be Oilers vs Buffalo. Oilers winning. How long has it been since the Cup was in Canada?:busted:

Buffalo just ran into some crazy lucky defense tonight but still managed to only lose by a goal. I would expect much of the same in Buffalo, right now Im saying Buffalo in 6. Those black unis still agrivate me though...

I like the black personally. The uni's above remind me too much of Nashville's.

When I think Sabers I think Blue Gold and White, I was never very fond of the Black. It seemed like an unecessary change that wasnt real though out.

That save last night for Carolina when the defensmen jumped over the goal and knocked the puck off the goaline has to be one of the plays of the year, especially when it ended up being the difference in the game

So now it's 3-1 in favor of the Oilers over the Ducks and 2-1 in favor of Buffalo over the Canes. Tallinder being out for the remainder of the playoffs could hurt Buffalo. In a perfect world Anaheim and the Oilers would take it to seven games and beat the hell out of each other while Buffalo takes the next two. While I will stick with my earlier prediction of Buffalo vs Edmonton in the finals, it won't be easy for Buffalo.

So Game 7 tonight Buffalo @ Carolina who ya got??

As much as a want Buffalo to win its gonna be tough with the majority of their defense hurt, Numinen (sp?) only played a few minutes last game but they still won. Ah screw it I'm voting Buffalo. I cant pull for a team in Carolina to beat a team from Buffalo in hockey it just seems counterintuitive.

I want Buffalo, but I think Carolina is going to put it away tonight.

Buffalo is the better team but losing most of your defense is hard to overcome

Add McKee on the list of defenseman who will be out for Buffalo tonight. That makes five total starting defenseman out for Buffalo heading into tonights game seven in North Carolina. Teppo Numminen, Henrik Tallinder, Dmitri Kalinin, Jay McKee and Nathan Paetsch.

Buffalo's PP will have to be red hot tonight and Milller's going to have to play his best game to date in order for Buffalo to win this game. Losing McKee is huge though. Nevermind the fact that he's another defenseman that they cannot afford to lose, but his veteran leadership will be sorely missed tonight.

Talk about bad luck, if they had all their defenseman back they would of won the series easily

Well, ya never know Dan. In a game seven anything can happen. Should be a helluva game eitherway.

Edmonton vs Carolina in the finals.....

Ya Buffalo just didnt have enough in the tank at the end

83-Steelers-43

They had the PP at the end of the third, just could not capitalize. It's hard to blame Miller. The offense had an opportunity but their PP blew it.

Ouch, the Oilers are in trouble. Down one game and Roloson is out for the remainder of the playoffs.

Brady12

So 2-1 is the series heading into tonight. It's either a Carolina win, surely ending the series, or an Edmonton win, completely changing momentum heading back to Carolina.
