we also resigned Scott. Colon turned down 3 million more to stay in the burgh

This will fly relatively low and under the radar but it is a very good signing!

Glad to have him back! Nice to see the loyalty and respect these guys have for the Steelers organization, by taking less money to stay at home! They know who's going to the super bowl this year!!!!! GO STEELERS :tt03:

5.8 Million Dollars a year. But only around 6 million guaranteed. Not a bad deal if it doesn't work out for us or we need to release him a couple years from now.

That's the key right there. Even if you're not a fan of Colon, this is still a great signing.
