Law visited Dolphins on Wednesday

May 13, 2005

Former Patriots cornerback Ty Law finished up his visit with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday afternoon. Law has visited the Lions and Dolphins this week, but has no plans for further visits this weekend.

Law is expected to begin weighing his options over the next week. He has received interest from the Dolphins, Jets, Steelers, Colts and Lions.

Law, who broke his left foot in October and had surgery to repair ligament damage in the foot in January, has been running straight ahead while rehabbing and is a few weeks away from cutting.

it'll be interesting to see who he chooses and what kind of money the teams will initially offer him.

If we offer, this would be his best oppurtunity. But with Coc, Ike and now McFadden. Law maybe of no interest to us now. ???????

bringing in an extra veteran would definately take away one of those allotted spots for our CB's.. at this point, u'd have to think Taylor would be odd man out,..I say that because if Law can't stay healthy this year, u'd probably want willie williams back for some veteran insurance.

I agree, it will be very interesting to see where he goes, and how much he gets.

I think we have liked McFadden so much that Law is off our radar right now. I'm picking the Jets. Somebody has to step up when their kicker misses again.

I don't care where he signs, just as long as it is outside of the AFC.

Mcfadden is the Real deal, this kid let no catchs for 4 games and let a no TD's on him for 2 seasons! this kid doesnt let the big play slip by him, We are going to have great battle for starting CB's spot this year .

Noted bad habits of McFadden so far:

only shows up for meetings 5 minutes early instead of Tom Coughlin like 15
only signed 20 autographs at first mini camp when his sharpie clearly had more ink left
has been spotted watching game tapes too close to screen which could damge his eyesight
showed up to minicamp while completely forgetting about his mom on Mother's day
has been seen running in UPMC complex with scissors points up

the list goes on on this guy. Maybe we should trade him before its too late:D
