memorial day sunday is the same for me every year. start drinking and bbq'ing early, as i catch most of the indy 500. this is a warm up for watching nascars' 600 in charlotte. after watching 1100 miles of racing im usually pretty buzzed, full of wings and steak, and tired. sleep it off the next day before another picnic or bbq.

Johnstown I know where that is. My dad lives in Somerset. I know I'm just blabbing but I saw Johnstown and thought of my dad. I'm not from PA. But both my mom and dad were born close to Pittsburgh. Thats were I get my Pittsburgh pride from.

Nice. I heard that Andrew Haines(President of the American Indoor Football League and the league the Riverhawks play in) is looking to expand out there.

We are going to our son and daughter-in-laws for a cookout. It will be nice. On Saturday we are all going to the family cemetaries and on Sunday we are having the cookout. On Monday we are gonna relax. I am going to check and see if the East Lansing pool is open, if it is we may go there but I doubt we will go there since we have a garden to get in :)

Enjoy, you have to go to the Salty Dog, the ultimate Steelers bar in Ocean City

Buxy's Salty Dog is already on my agenda, baby! See...

Thanks, Suit. I'm taking Jimmie to win in his house. I would be foolish not to after the way his car was runnin' this past Saturday night. We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I won't get to watch the race probably anyway. I'm leaving for the beach in Ocean City, MD, this Saturday afternoon for a week, although I may try to catch it at Buxy's Salty Dog Saloon. The guy who owns it is originally from Johnstown, PA, and there's Steelers, Pirates, Penguins, Johnstown Chiefs, etc., stuff everywhere. It's home away from home...(lol).

I love it there! I'll be sure to have a few for ya...(lol)!

I got the next three days off and I don't have to be back to work until Thursday.
Presently putting a big dent in a case of Yuengling........doing a BBQ over at my in-laws tomorrow(along with more icy cold beverages) and doing stuff around the house Tuesday and Wednesday.

Have a safe holiday everyone and many thanks to all veterans past and present who've given the last measure.
